Take Note: Ellen Greene, Lars Klint, David Weinberger

Ellen Greene joined the Harvard Library finance team as the controller. Ellen comes to Harvard from Iron Mountain, where she served as director of North America accounting. She also worked at Staples as senior director of international accounting as well as in other roles. Ellen is a CPA and holds a BS in accounting from Babson College.

Lars Klint will serve as the permanent manager of both the MACC AAP and MACC AE 3 sections of Acquisitions in Harvard Library's Information and Technical Services (ITS). Lars has been serving as interim manager for the 625 Mass. Ave.-based MACC AAP staff since March 2013. Lars previously worked at Tozzer Library as acquisitions librarian. He holds a BA in anthropology from Oberlin College and an MSLIS from Simmons.

David Weinberger, co-director of the Innovation Lab at the Harvard Law School Library and senior researcher at the Berkman Center, delivered the keynote address at the Virtual Academic Library Environment of New Jersey Users’ Conference. David holds a BA from Bucknell University and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Toronto. He has been a fellow at Harvard's Berkman Center for Internet and Society since 1994.
