Share your thoughts on possible 2014-15 Library strategic priorities and projects.
May 13, 2014
Since I joined Harvard in August 2013, I have heard many creative ideas from the library community about what we might accomplish in the future. These ideas and other strategic priorities have been collected in a list of possible projects for 2014-15 and beyond.
On June 2, the Library Leadership Team will meet to discuss our strategic priorities and to align our resources to the priorities. This will assist us in ensuring that we are clear about what we can accomplish with the resources we have available to us.
I would like to invite you to contribute additional ideas with regard to our strategic initiatives and also to let the LLT know which items already on the list seem to you to be the most important for us to focus on in the coming year. This list of current and potential projects will inform our planning. Aligned with our mission statement and strategic objectives, and, of course, with our resources, what should the Library aim to accomplish in the near term? Please submit your comments by 5pm on May 27, 2014.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts, and thank you for contributing to this important work.
