- Visitor
Cabot Science Library admits all individuals who hold a current Harvard ID or an HCL Special Borrower Card and Extension School degree candidates. Cabot is also open to non-degree Extension School students who present their current course registration and a photo ID. Non-Harvard students and affiliates must present a current photo ID from another educational institution and sign in at the Security Desk. See Cabot's Admittance Policies page. Cabot Science Library is located on the first floor of the Science Center. Access is through the doors facing the north gates of Harvard Yard. Elevators and bathrooms within the library and the Science Center are accessible.
There are six wheelchair accessible workstations and a networked printer in the reference area. Two workstations in the reference area are equipped with Zoomtext 8.0. There is an accessible elevator within the library. Inquire at the Circulation Desk for the key.
Circulation Desk staff will assist patrons with out-of-reach items.
