Lamont Library implements a new unified service model this September. The centerpiece of this model is the new unified service point in the first floor lobby. 

Harvard Library has received a two-year grant to explore the development of a digital library of resources relating to and originating in the Middle East.

To ensure members of the Class of 2020 are familiar with the libraries they’re most likely to use during their freshman year, Harvard College Library will host its annual Freshman Open House on Monday, August 29, from 1–3 pm.

Two projects involving Harvard Library, “Building a Participant Pool for Internal Accessibility Testing at Harvard” and “Launch ASC (the Analytics Staff Consortium),” are among the winners of the President’s Administrative Innovation Fund.

The Harvard Library Office for Scholarly Communication (OSC) is pleased to announce the release of a comprehensive literature review on strategies for converting subscription journals to open access.

HathiTrust is a membership organization that provides access to digitized book and journal content from the partner library collections. This includes both in-copyright and public domain materials digitized by Google, the Internet Archive, and Microsoft, as well as materials digitized through in-house initiatives.

Harvard Library has acquired pianist and composer Randy Weston's personal archive of musical scores, recordings, correspondence, posters, and other materials that offer a rare glimpse into the world of an artist, an ambassador, and a businessman.

In a celebration at Sanders Theatre, President Drew Faust announced the 2016 Harvard Heroes, including two staff members from Harvard Library: Michelle Durocher and Susan Radovsky.
