About the Grants

Over the next three years, Harvard Library is offering grants to Harvard faculty, staff, and students through the generosity of Dr. Seng T. Lee to fund creative initiatives that improve access to information and the experience of using library resources at Harvard University.

Aligning with Harvard Library’s expanding emphasis on user-focused services, preference will be given to proposals that align with the Harvard Library Objectives in Action. Proposals should indicate the level of impact on user needs and include a plan for sustainability as well as a timeframe for completion of the initiative. Innovations can take a variety of forms including technological, cultural, or operational. All members of the Harvard community are invited to submit proposals.

Deadline:
Friday, October 14, 2016 by 4 p.m.

Award Amounts:
Range from $5,000 – $50,000

Proposals will be reviewed by a team of judges that include library staff, faculty, and students. Award recipients will be announced by November 18, 2016.
