| Access Information: | Widener Library is open to all individuals who possess a current Harvard ID. Visiting researchers may apply for access at the Privileges Office. Fees may apply. |
| Circulation Policy: | Widener Library has circulating collections.
Borrowing privileges are extended to those with a current Harvard ID or a Harvard College Library Special Borrower's Card which can be obtained at the Privileges Office. |
| Holdings Description: | Collections focus on humanities and social sciences with a emphasis on literature and history. Includes folklore, German, Latin America, Americana, Canadian history, English literature, British history, French history including local histories and topography, Greek and Latin classical writers; significant materials relating to linguistics, classical and modern languages, folklore, bibliography, economics, philosophy, psychology, the history of science and technology, and the history of social sciences. Holdings include major international works in more than 100 languages.

| Services: | Widener Library interlibrary loan privileges are extended to current affiliates of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Equipment and facilities available: microfiche reader, photocopier (Vendacard & coin operated), microfilm scanners, public scanner.

| Directions: | Widener Library is located in Harvard Yard across the Tercentenary Theater from Memorial Church.
Entrance to Pusey Library is through the west door of Lamont Library. Users and students who wish to access Pusey stacks can do so via Widener Library. |
