The collections are open to all researchers regardless of academic affiliation. Borrowing privileges are extended to members of the University with a valid Harvard ID and Harvard University Library special borrowers.
- Circulation
Books circulate for 4 weeks (28 days) and may be renewed online through HOLLIS, by phone (617 495-2836), or in person at the circulation desk. Material may be renewed unless recalled by the Library for the use of another patron. Books are subject to recall after 10 days.
Journals do not circulate.
Reserve material may be checked out on overnight loan after 11am and is due the following day within one hour of the Library opening. The fine for overdue reserve material is $1.00 per hour, with a maximum of $10.00 per day.
