Overview
Collections include materials from all areas of theoretical and experimental physics and from related interdisciplinary fields; approximately 30,000 volumes and 80 active serial subscriptions; departmental PhD theses; video of lectures and colloquia.

- Visitor
Library access is limited to Harvard and MIT students/faculty/staff. Other scholars/researchers are welcome, but must first secure visiting rights with the librarian. Call 495-2878 for more information. Our circulation privileges are the same as the access policy. The loan period for all monographs is 28 days, regardless of the borrower's status. Audio/visual items circulate for three days. Items marked "Reserve" circulate overnight only. Journals and other periodical publications do not circulate.
