Enhanced Access to Collections through HathiTrust Digital Library

Harvard Library is a partner in HathiTrust, a partnership of academic and research institutions, offering a collection of millions of titles digitized from libraries around the world. Through this partnership, Harvard Library can provide eligible patrons with print disabilities special access to digitized in-copyright material held in print by Harvard Library. The following definitions apply to this service:

  • Eligible Patron - an affiliated user at Harvard University who has a print disability for which access to digital copies of library books is a reasonable and appropriate accommodation.
  • Print disability - a disability, such as a visual impairment, learning disability, physical disability, or other disability, that impedes a person's ability to access print in the standard way.
