Website RFP Opportunity

Harvard Library is looking for a partner to help us reimagine our website.

Libraries transform lives.

The campus library has always been at the heart of University life. It’s a place where people come together—where a first-generation college student plugging away at that night’s problem set can be sitting next to a tenured faculty member researching her next book. Winding your way through endless aisles of stacks, serendipitously unearthing the next great idea, the library has always been a place of discovery, inspiration, and contemplation.

But the digital landscape has changed users’ expectations of their library. People want to find that same delight and intrigue they once found exploring shelves, now digitally.

We believe the Harvard Library website can be creatively designed, intuitive to use, and endlessly helpful. Libraries today are less about what they have for people and more about what they do for and with people. We imagine a website that people want to use, that makes their research richer, learning fun, and discovery delightful.

Can you partner with us to reimagine our library digitally?

Our RFP is broken out by design and development; we invite you to bid for one part or both.
