Online encounters with special collections materials, objects, and primary sources can be surprisingly engaging for students, thanks to the creativity and dedication of Harvard's special collections librarians, archivists, research librarians, and technologists. These experts will share ways they can help you, from digitization and 3-D surrogates to custom videos, Canvas integrations, live Zoom sessions, research guides, publishing platforms, and learning activities designed to encourage in-depth exploration of the materiality of these sources. Come and discuss your ideas with them.
This workshop is part of the Teaching with the Library series, and is intended for Harvard faculty teaching remotely; teaching fellows are also welcome to attend.
This workshop will repeat on January 19, 2-3pm.
This is an online event: Please register to receive the Zoom link in advance of the workshop. Registered attendees will receive the Zoom link one hour prior to the workshop.
