Costume design by André Derain for La Boutique Fantasque

Derain designed the costumes, décor, and curtain for this ballet, which used salon music by Gioacchino Rossini, presented in a commissioned orchestration by Ottorino Respighi. This design shows the costume to be worn in the Taran­tella by Lydia Sokolova. (She was partnered in this dance by Léon Woizikowski.)
