Portrait bust by Una Vincenzo Troubridge of Vaslav Nijinsky in the ballet L’Après-midi d’un Faune

Reportedly this is one of four bronze castings from a plaster original that was in the possession of the Ballets Russes dancer Lydia Sokolova. Sokolova had discovered it, abandoned and unrecognized, in a London antique shop. With the permission of the artist, copies were made.  (The plaster copy is now in the Victoria and Albert Museum.)
