Thackeray. Two drawings. Ink, undated.
These drawings are possibly of Thackeray’s daughters, Anny and Minny, when they were young.
Years later, Anny remembered “my father’s silver-grey head is bending over his drawing-board as he sits at his work, serious, pre-occupied, with the water-colour box open on the table beside him, and the tray full of well-remembered implements.”
Private collection.
