Please respect the privacy of other library users though. They cannot be photographed without prior consent, and photography cannot be used for commercial purposes.

Requests to film or photograph within Harvard Library

Please fill out the form below to submit your request to record, film, or take photographs in Harvard Library.

Please submit your request at least 2 weeks ahead of the date you hope to film or photograph.

The submission of this form does not constitute approval of the request. The Library is committed to providing an environment that is free of distraction and preserves patron privacy. If it seems that your request would conflict with this goal, Harvard Library and Harvard College Library reserve the right to deny your request. The Office of the Librarian will review this request and will respond with a final decision within three business days.
