IPCC Working Group II (WGII) assesses the vulnerability of socio-economic and natural systems to climate change, potential negative and positive consequences, and options for adapting to it. The Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) cycle spanned 2008-2014, with the U.S.-hosted WGII Technical Support Unit responsible for two major deliverables: (i) the WGII contribution to the AR5 (published in 2014), and (ii) the Special Report on Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation (SREX, in 2012).

In addition, the Environmental Science and Public Policy Archives used Archive-It to collect the original websites of IPCC AR5 WGII and SREX as of June 29, 2015. These websites supported the launch, delivery, and publicizing of the reports during the active period of AR5 WGII, 2008-2014.
Additional WGII AR5 and SREX digital records (such as those regarding print production processes) are held onsite at the Environmental Science and Public Policy Archives, Harvard Library.
