Letters of John Keats to Fanny Brawne... (London, 1878).

Keats bibliographer Harry Buxton Forman edited this edition of Keats’s letters to Brawne. Victorian readers were horrified to learn that, as they interpreted it, a seemingly shallow, flirtatious girl had distracted the poet. This copy belonged to the writer George Eliot, and was later acquired by Keats scholar and collector Amy Lowell.

Letters of John Keats to Fanny Brawne, written in the years MDCCCXIX and MDCCCXX and now given from the original manuscripts with introduction and notes. London:  Reeves & Turner, 1878.  Keats *EC8 K2262 878ℓ (B) Bequest of Amy Lowell, 1925.
