Johnsonian collector and scholar Percy Fitzgerald (1834-1925) was also an artist, responsible for two prominent statues of Boswell and Johnson, the models for which are displayed here: the statue of Johnson at St. Clement Danes Church in London, and of Boswell in Lichfield Market Square. |
