Thackeray illustrates Flore et Zéphyr (London: J. Mitchell, 1836).

In April 1836, Thackeray’s first separate publication appeared. Published under the pseudonym Théophile Wagstaff, this series of eight caricatures mocked Flore et Zéphire, a popular ballet by Charles-Louis Didelot.
