Overview
Perma.cc is a tool developed by the Library Innovation Lab to help ensure that websites that are linked to or cited are preserved for future readers and not subject to edits that make the resource change or "disappear."
Perma.cc is:
- available for free to all current Harvard faculty, staff and students through the library
- recommended as a source for web citation practices by The Chicago Manual of Style and the Blue Book
- provided as a way to ensure that what you see today is what your reader will see in the future
