Amanda Maloney is a Special Collections Conservator at the Weissman Preservation Center. Prior to her current position, Amanda was a conservator at the Northeast Document Conservation Center (2013 - 2020), The Better Image, a private photograph conservation studio (2010 - 2013), and held internships at CC Von Waldthausen Fotorestauratie Atelier in Amsterdam (2010), The Metropolitan Museum of Art (2009), and the Gatineau Preservation Center for the Library and Archives of Canada (2007). Amanda holds a Masters of Science with a Certificate in Art Conservation from the Winterthur University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation (2011) and a Masters of Arts from the Photographic Preservation and Collections Management Program at Ryerson University and George Eastman House (2008). Amanda is a Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation and is currently the Program Chair for the Photographic Materials Group.
