Catherine Blatz

Catherine’s role on the Comms Team centers around internal communications, including stewardship of The CC, digital signs, departmental websites and library listservs. Along with the rest of the team, she collaborates on editorial strategy and in finding ways to tell Harvard Library’s story.

In her years working in communications in the Library she has performed a wide variety of functions, from proofreading to graphic design to project management. Catherine has a BA in English and American literature from Brandeis University and a certificate in graphic design from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. In her spare time she enjoys writing, photography, trivia, the eternal struggle to catch up on The New Yorker, Peak (and not-so-peak) TV, and traveling whenever possible.
