Colleen Cressman
Colleen Cressman is the Librarian for Open Publishing within the Open Scholarship and Research Data Services unit at Harvard Library. She investigates, develops, and supports initiatives and services that advance no-fee open access publishing within and beyond the Harvard community. She manages the Harvard Open Journals Program, which provides support and services for editors of qualifying journals. Colleen also collaborates with Harvard Library colleagues to evaluate and make funding recommendations for a wide range of local and global open access initiatives. In addition to working with editors and librarians, Colleen advises Harvard authors of ways to share and reuse their scholarship through open licenses, rights-retention policies, and by negotiating key terms of their publishing agreements.
