Kerry Conley

Director of Communications
Harvard Library

Kerry Conley is a communications strategist and user-centered design practitioner. Serving as director of communications at Harvard Library since 2016, she oversees a portfolio that spans the University in support of Harvard Library. She is responsible for internal communication, media relations, digital communication, and promoting the library's expert staff, services, and resources to faculty, students, and the public. The Communications Team supports the library system with over 800 staff, spanning the university. 

Before joining Harvard Library, Kerry spent more than ten years at Harvard Kennedy School’s Women and Public Policy Program where she helped create the Gender Action Portal and their student training program, From Harvard Square to the Oval Office. She organized the Women and Security Executive Program and presented on the Center’s work de-biasing organizations using behavioral design.

She earned her M.A. in International Relations from UMass Boston and her B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from Northeastern University.
