A key literary and political figure, the poet Amy Lowell led a parallel life as a major rare book and manuscript collector, one of few women then competing in the male-dominated collecting world. She pursued her passion throughout her life, from her teens, and during her strenuous career as a poet and lecturer. This exhibition covers over 30 years of her collecting.
