Working as a member of the Administrative Operations team based out of the Office of the Librarian in Widener Library, Awura provides direct administrative support to the Associate University Librarian for Antiracism, and the Senior Consultant for Strategic Priorities. Awura also supports other members of the Harvard Library and Harvard College Library leadership team. As part of her role, she serves as the department lead supporting the conference rooms, meeting rooms, and flex workspaces.

Prior to this role, Awura worked at the Harvard Graduate School of Education Human Resources office as an HR Coordinator. Awura handled the onboarding and offboarding processes, payroll and timekeeping, expense reports, invoices, event coordination etc.

Awura is responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the office of the Liberian, this includes a wide variety of complex schedules often involving multiple senior-level stakeholders, prepares related travel arrangements, travel reimbursements, purchasing, and financial reconciliations as needed.
