As Associate University Librarian for Archives and Special Collections, I partner across Harvard Library to advance system-wide infrastructure and approaches for the administration of archives, records management, and special collections.  My management portfolio includes strategic leadership for the collections, services, programs, and staff of the Harvard Film Archive, Harvard University Archives, the Harvard-Yenching Library, and Houghton Library, as well as two integrated departments, Public Services for Archives and Special Collections and Technical Services for Archives and Special Collections.  As the Florence Fearrington Librarian of Houghton Library, I provide overall leadership and direction for the collections, services, and programs of Harvard's distinguished repository of rare books and manuscripts, which date from antiquity to the present day.   My interests include the administration of special collections and archives; born digital archives; archival appraisal; inclusion and belonging in archives and libraries; and the history of radical social and political movements.  I have a passion for connecting rare and unique materials held in libraries and archives to anyone who can make productive use of them and am proud of the work we do in the Harvard Library to foster advanced research, teaching and learning, and community enrichment and engagement.
