The Lamont Multimedia Lab's large-format printer can create prints on heavyweight matte or satin photo paper up to 35.5 inches wide. Both options can be printed up to 100 feet long.

Please note that the Media Lab is staffed by students and staffing cannot be guaranteed for all walk-ins.
Fall & Spring term:
- Mon – Fri: 10am – 9pm
- Sat & Sun: 11am – 9pm
Summer school:
- Mon – Fri: 10am – 9pm
- Sat: 10am - 4pm
- Sun: 12pm - 9pm
Intersession:
- Mon-Fri: 10am - 4pm
Things to Know
- In general, for standard projects, large-format printing is available as a walk-in service.
- If you are paying with a department billing code, we may be able to work on your job in advance. Email MediaAnd@fas.harvard.edu.
- If you are placing a large or class order, you must contact us at MediaAnd@fas.harvard.edu for assistance with planning and scheduling.
- This service is available to all Harvard ID holders.
Pricing & Format
The cost of printing is $2 per square foot of the image on heavyweight matte paper or $4 per square foot of the image for satin photo paper.
- We only accept Crimson Cash or 33-digit department billing codes for payment.
- Files to be printed should be brought to the media lab on a flash drive, "print-ready", in .pdf or .jpeg format.
- Complimentary trimming is available up to 4 cuts per printout. For additional cuts, a self-service rotary cutter is available.
