Scott Lapinski

With over 35 years of experience in academic libraries, Scott has enjoyed multiple roles including supervising library IT/Media units, developing online tools/databases/repositories, supporting open science initiatives, and providing research consultations and instruction. Since joining Harvard Medical School in 2006, Scott has worked within Countway Library and currently leads the Publishing & Data Services department (P&DS). Together, the P&DS team support HMS, HSDM and HSPH in a wide range of activities involving digital technologies, scholarly communication, digital scholarship, citation best-practices, publishing and bibliometric assessment tools.
