Tamar is a research librarian and teaching coordinator at the Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America. She earned her doctorate in English and American language and literature from Harvard, and her master’s degree in library and information science from Simmons University.  She worked as a research and teaching librarian at Lesley University before returning to Harvard in 2017 to take on her current position.  Her professional interests include information literacy, teaching and learning with primary sources, women’s and gender studies, and the history of the novel.
