The MLA International Bibliography is the essential database for identifying scholarly and critical studies of literature and folklore around the world and from all time periods. It also includes related fields, such as linguistics, film, and popular culture.
Each journal article, book, book chapter, or dissertation is described with a citation and a selection of subject terms. Some items also have abstracts.
While both international and multilingual, it is strongest on anglophone literature and U.S.-based scholars.
