Amanda Hannoosh Steinberg

As the Librarian for Islamic Art and Architecture, I curate, manage, and maintain Harvard Fine Arts Library's collection of books, special collections, and other materials related to Islamic Art & Architecture. I am also available to anyone in the Harvard community and beyond for consultations and workshops on finding and using these resources in academic work. Please feel free to reach out any time!

I earned my PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, and have expertise in Arabic literature and Islamic history as well as in Islamic art and visual culture. I am always happy to help students and faculty in any way I can.
