Bill Hanscom

Bill Hanscom is a conservation technician for special collections at the Weissman Preservation Center with a special interest in designing innovative housing solutions for Harvard's collections and Ethiopian bookbinding tradition. Prior to coming to Harvard in 2008, Bill was an intern at the American Philosophical Society in Philadelphia. Bill earned their MFA in Book Arts & Printmaking from The University of the Arts. Outside of his role at Harvard, Bill teaches workshops on historical bookbinding and contemporary book art subjects.
