Dorauri "Dora" Ocanto-Gomez

Dora Ocanto-Gomez joined Baker Library in September 2024 to support the Library’s financial operations through budgeting, financial reporting, and procurement. She is one of the points of contact between Baker Library and the HBS Finance Office, helping ensure coordination and alignment on financial processes. Dora enjoys collaborating across departments to promote efficient and transparent operations.

Originally from Venezuela, Dora has over 18 years of experience in finance across both corporate and higher education settings. She moved to Massachusetts in 2014 and spent eight years at Brandeis University, where she served as Assistant Director for Finance and Operations. She has also worked with global companies such as Pfizer and Nestlé in her home country. Spanish is her first language, and she values clear and easy communication. Outside of work, she is family-oriented and enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones.
