Megan Schwenke

Senior Archivist/Records Manager, Harvard Art Museums

Megan Schwenke heads the Harvard Art Museums Archives, overseeing archival accessions, cataloguing, research services, and outreach as well as the museums’ institutional records management program. She is an active member of the Society of American Archivists and is co-chair of the Museum Archives Section’s Standards and Best Practices Working Group. She is also a member of the New England Archivists, serving on their program committee in 2014, 2015, and 2016, including most recently as the program chair. She holds a BA in English and Art History from Rutgers University, and a MS with a concentration in archives management from Simmons College.
