Yuzhou Bai

Special Collections Librarian and Archivist
Harvard Library
Harvard-Yenching Library

I help students, faculty, and researchers connect with Harvard-Yenching Library’s rare and unique materials for East Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and Vietnamese studies. I’m responsible for ensuring the safety and accessibility of our special collections, appraising and accessioning new acquisitions, creating archival finding aids, and supporting exhibition and educational programs that bring these collections to a wider audience.

Whether you're a student exploring East Asia-related topics, a faculty member designing a course involving primary sources, or a researcher visiting from another institution, I'm happy to help you discover what Harvard-Yenching's Special Collections has to offer.

I hold an MLIS in Archives Management from Indiana University Indianapolis and a PhD in East Asian Studies from Princeton University, where I was trained in Chinese intellectual history and Chinese religions.
