Service

Librarians for First-Year Students

First-year students are assigned a librarian to help you make the most of all the library has to offer during your first undergraduate year.

First-Year Librarians are the personal library contacts for first-year students at Harvard and can provide guidance, consultations, and referrals as students begin exploring areas of research interest and writing research papers for classes.

Do you want to learn more about other services for first-year students? Please visit the Dean of Students Office's First-Year Experience site.
