August 3,2020: Library locations will reopen to Harvard students, faculty, and staff for the fall semester. See the full reopening schedule.

Librarians for First-Year Students

First-year students are assigned a librarian to help you make the most of all the library has to offer during your first undergraduate year.

First-Year Librarians are the personal library contacts for first-year students at Harvard and can provide guidance, consultations, and referrals as students begin exploring areas of research interest and writing research papers for classes.
