Bassey Irele

As the Collection Development Librarian for Sub-Saharan Africa, Bassey Irele is responsible for selecting, managing and expanding humanities and social science collections related to African studies. She collects material in all languages and formats from the countries of Africa south of the Sahara.
She also provides specialized Africa-related reference and bibliographic assistance to students, faculty, and staff within Harvard and beyond.
